Definition
Using the evaluation group, you can classify assets according to any criteria you choose.
Note
You can enter the valid entries for these evaluation groups in a check table, but you do not necessarily have to define them there. The system uses the following logic:
If at least one entry is defined for an evaluation group in the check table, the system checks the values entered in the asset master record against this table. If no entries are defined in the check table (table empty), the system does not check the entries to see if they are valid. In this case you can enter any evaluation group you like.
