Use
This value is a more realistic expression of a vendor's on-time delivery performance as it includes a weighting for the quantity delivered.
Examples
If a vendor supplies only a small fraction of the PO quantity on the planned delivery date, such a goods receipt is of less value to you than a complete shipment that is only slightly delayed.
