Definition

Field for the period from which a distribution rule is to apply.

Use

You can use the fields "Valid from"/"Valid to" to limit the validity duration of a distribution rule.

Use

In the settlement rule list, you can enter a validity period and a validity year to restrict the number of distribution rules found.

If you enter validity period and a validity year, then the system selects all the distribution rules that are valid in the specified validity period or validity year.

Example

You entered the following rules for an order:

1. Actual distribution rule 100% FUL to cost center 4711, valid from 1/1999 to 12/1999
2. Actual distribution rule 100% FUL to cost center 4712, valid from 1/2000
3. Plan distribution rule 100% PER to cost center 4712, without specification of a validity time frame.

If you get the system to select rules with receiver: cost center and validity period/year: 1/2000, then it selects rules 2 and 3.
