Definition

Using this indicator, you can suppress the individual goods directions in the periodic declarations area in Foreign Trade.

Note

Goods movements between countries belonging to the same economic area will be divided into the goods movements receipt or dispatch. However, goods movements between countries of one economic area with so-called third countries are called imports or exports.

Examples

Goods movements within the European Union are subject to intra-European Union trade statistics (INTRASTAT). Inbound goods must be registered in a receipt notification. Respectively, outbound goods are monitored in a dispatch notification.

The extra-European Union trade statistics (EXTRASTAT) covers exports between EU countries and third countries such as the US.
