Definition

Using this parameter, you tell the system that the declaration currency that you entered is the EURO.

This specification is particularly important if the relevant national statistics office allows you, within the scope of the European Monetary Union, to use either the EURO or a national currency. In such cases, you must specify in the declaration, for example, in the form or in the data record that is on magnetic tape or diskette, in which currency you want to declare your goods. You use this parameter to flag the declaration currency in the relevant data carrier used for the declaration data.

Use

You can set the parameter as follows:

• 'X' : The declaration currency that you entered is the EURO.
• ' ' : The declaration currency that you entered is any other currency.
