Definition
The sum of all forecast errors in a historical time series.
The forecast error is the difference between the actual value and the value forecast for the previous period. It may be positive or negative.
Procedure
The system determines the forecast errors at the end of every period. From the forecast errors, the system updates the error totals via the delta factor in the material master.
