Proportion of total shipment costs

Use

The total shipment costs must be distributed for different applications (e.g. account assignment, billing).
If the calculation basis during shipment cost determination does not agree with the target object, then the total costs are distributed according to a distribution key (e.g. weight, volume).

Examples

The shipment costs were determined for the whole delivery. The shipment costs should, however, be forwarded during account assignment per delivery item. The total costs are apportioned according to the proportional weight of the delivery items.
In this case, the proportion of the shipment cost is the weight of the delivery item.
