Definition
Bundles data of a formula that belongs together as regards content.
For information about the formula views supplied with the standard system, see the Recipe Management documentation under Formula Views.
Use
The data of a view is displayed on one tab page during formula editing.
You control the following in Customizing for Formulas, irrespective of the formula view:
- Which tab pages are displayed during formula editing
Exception: The BOM view is always hidden.
- Which field attributes material and substance items have during formula editing
- Which substance types and units of measure can be used
- Which checks are carried out for the data of a view
- Whether and how a view can be generated from the data of another view
