Definition
This parameter defines the replenishment type for a location product.
Use
00 - Inactive for Automatic Replenishment
The location product is not considered in FRP. Order proposals are not generated automatically, but you can create them manually.
01 - Inactive for Automatic Replenishment Due to Cross Docking
The location product is marked for cross docking and therefore is not considered in FRP. Order proposals are not generated automatically, but you can create them manually.
02 - No Planning in SAP F&R
The location product will not be planned in SAP F&R; neither automatically nor manually. The location product will only be used in case the location is a DC and a listing check is necessary for the product in the supplying DC. In this case a reduced data transfer for this location product is performed to enable SAP F&R to perform a listing check.
09 - Automatic Replenishment with Manual Target Stock and Manual Reorder Point
You must maintain a target stock and reorder point for the location product. As soon as the planned stock at the beginning of a demand period falls below the reorder point, a demand is triggered. The demand consists of the target stock minus the planned stock at the beginning of the demand period, and then the manually maintained minimum stock is added (automatic minimum stock is not considered). During optimization, the system does not consider any additional demand periods.
10 - Automatic Replenishment with Manual Target Stock and Dynamic Reorder Point
You must maintain a target stock manually for the location product. The reorder point is calculated automatically (minimum stock created manually or automatically, whichever is greater). As soon as the expected stock at the end of a demand period falls below the reorder point, a demand is triggered. The demand consists of the maintained target stock minus the planned stock at the beginning of the demand period, and then the manually maintained minimum stock (whichever is greater) is added. During optimization, the system does not consider any additional demand periods.
11 - Automatic Replenishment with Dynamic Target Stock and Dynamic Reorder Point
For the location product, the target stock and reorder point are calculated automatically (minimum stock created manually or automatically, whichever is greater). As soon as the expected stock at the end of a demand period falls below the reorder point, a demand is triggered. The demand consists of the sum of the daily maximum forecasts minus the planned stock at the beginning of the demand period, and then the minimum stock (manually or automatically created, whichever is greater) is added. During optimization, the system considers the dynamically calculated demand of future demand periods.
12 - Manual Replenishment Only
Only the forecast will be calculated for the location product. You must create an order proposal manually. No automatic order proposals are generated.
13 - Manual Replenishment (But Automatic Is Also Possible)
The number of the consumption in a specified number of weeks determines whether the location product is replenished manually (RP Type 12) or automatically (RP Type 11).
In Customizing, you can maintain the number of weeks to be considered for the requirements calculation profile (No. Observation Periods for RPType Provisory Auto.).
During this defined time, if the consumption is at least twice the stock multiple (or alternatively, the base unit), the system calculates the location product automatically. Otherwise you must order the location product manually.
