Documentation
Definition
The maximum stock level defines the maximum amount of a material in a plant.
Use
Enter a value in this field if, in SAP F&R, you want a different maximum stock value to apply for a given time period than the value stored in the master record for the material and plant or in the layout module. You enter a value in this field if you are promoting this particular stock.
Dependencies
The system reads the maximum stock level and the indicator for the maximum stock level together. The value you enter in this field can be:
- An absolute value
- An additive value
- A subtractive value
- A percentage
If you enter additive and subtractive values, or a percentage, the change in the basic value is calculated relative to the maximum stock level stored in the master record for the material and plant or in the layout modules.
