Definition
The quantity determination indicator specifies if the value for the DIF occurence must be determined from a promotional quantity, and from which quantity (that is, from which table fields).
When quantity determination is chosen then no DIF occurence is created if the quantity is zero (for example if no allocation planning has been performed yet or if the quantity has been changed in a BAdI implementation).
Note that the quantity determination setting has to fit the assigned DIF ID:
Quantity determination from planned/corrected/confirmed quantities only makes sense if the assigned DIF ID refers to an absolute correctional DIF in F&R.
Use
The following specifications are possible:
- '1': From planned sales quantity of promotion
- '2': From planned or corrected/confirmed allocation quantity of promotion
Whether the planned or corrected/confirmed quantity of the material to plant assignment is used for value '2' depends on the notification form - notification for plants (allocation table/promotion):
- For the value '43' (Promotion announcement with request) the corrected/confirmed quantity is used.
- For the values '00' (No communication with plants) and '41' (Promotion announcement) the planned quantity is selected. In this case the allocation data is used when the value of the planned quantity is zero for every combination of material and plant.
