Documentation
Definition
Date on which the cumulative vendor business volumes and rebate income are updated in the Logistics Information System (LIS) within the framework of Subsequent Settlement for end-of-period rebates.
The update date depends on the triggering event (or "time of update", e.g. purchase order, goods receipt, invoice receipt).
For updates triggered by purchase orders, the delivery date of the schedule lines of the purchase order is used.
For updates triggered by the events "goods receipt" and "invoice receipt", the document date of the document in question is definitive.
Use
Depending on the periodicity setting for the information structure, the update date determines the period for which an update of the vendor business volumes and rebate income is carried out. Monthly periodicity is mandatory for the operative information structure S074. The periodicity of the evaluation structure S015 is optional.
Note
As an exception, the posting date of the document is used as the update date in the retrospective compilation of vendor business volumes for invoice documents created before Release 4.0.
You can see whether the updating for a document was retrospective using the function "Detailed statement". You will find an indicator denoting such cases after the update date.
