Definition

Sensitive property is accountable property that is not affected by the lower value limit. Items at a high risk of theft, such as weapons, might be deemed accountable property even if they fall below the dollar value range. Items are designated as sensitive property by their material group. If you want to use the sensitive property feature, create a sensitive property group (a set of material groups) using the procedure below.

  1. The sensitive property group should be created using standard Special Purpose Ledger sets. Create these using transaction GS01. Enter a set name of your choosing (maximum 10 characters) in the Set ID field. This will be the name you enter in configuration screen for the sensitive property group identifier. For the Basic data table use T023, select basic set (with no reference set), and press Enter.
  2. Select MATKL as the field name on the dialog box that appears requesting a table field for basic and single dimension sets, and press Enter.
  3. Type in your Basic set description to the right of the basic set name. In the From value field, select all of the material groups you would like to include as sensitive property. Save the set and exit.

This set can now be used in your configuration screen.
