Use
In Funds Management, the commitment items map the functional structure of an organization.
Commitment items can be budgeted and posted.
For postings in the feeder components of Funds Management (for example, Financial Accounting and Materials Management), a commitment item must always be specified when an update should take place in Funds Management.
The system uses the link between the commitment item and the basic data of other components (for example, G/L account or cost element) to derive the commitment item automatically from this assignment with the posting procedure. A manual entry is not necessary.
