Documentation
Definition
The Agency Location Code (ALC) is assigned to an agency by the Treasury Department. This can be a 3, 5, or 8 character code.
The ALC is required on any transaction involving a "Funds Balance with Treasury" (FBT) account, and, in the current implementation, this means it is required on the customer/vendor line of invoices, and the "Disbursements-In-Transit" (DIT) account line.
