If this indicator is set for a budgetary ledger area, you must enter the offset account as a target field in the derivation rule you defined for deriving the G/L account in the IMG activity Define Derivation Strategy for BL Accounts.
If this indicator is set, but the system cannot derive an offset account, an error message is issued.
