Use

Dependencies

If you select this indicator, note the following:

  • The controlling area relevant for your organization must be assigned to your FM areas.
  • Those business transactions that you want to track in Funds Management must be activated. You do this in a separate Customizing activity.
  • It must be possible to derive the funds center and the commitment item from the CO object and cost element.
Therefore, in the corresponding derivation steps for account assignment derivation in Funds Management, specify Copy new value if the new value is filled as the field attribute for the target fields "funds center" and "commitment item".
  • The funds center and the commitment item can only be assigned directly (manually) in Funds Management itself.

Therefore, the funds center and the commitment item on the posting screen of Financial Accounting and Materials Management should be hidden or not ready for input (field status control).

In Human Resources, these fields are hidden automatically.
