Definition
Use
The sender line items of fiscal year change documents, in other words the document line items of carried forward Funds Management documents with amount type Carryforward from previous year commitment (0300), can be statistical. These document line items are not relevant to the budget.
Dependencies
There are different ways of defining that postings in other components, that should not consume budget, should only be updated statistically in Funds Management. For example, you can override the definitions in your update profile which determine which Value types should be updated as budget-relevant or only in the statistics for each value type, or you can flag commitment items in the master record as statistical.
If the FM line item is flagged as statistical in the sender year, then the commitment carryforward record is statistical in the sender year as well as in the receiver year.
If the Business Add-In BAdI: Setting the statistics Indicator for Commitment Carryforward is active, budget consumed by the corresponding FI documents or commitment documents in the sender year is not released with the commitment carryforward for document line items flagged as statistical.
