Definition
Total of the approved total costs/total revenues over all budget subtypes of the original budget.
Use
The total costs/total revenues are approved by the responsible committee (such as the local council) and entered in the budget planning or the supplement planning for each budget subtype. This field is used for budget monitoring and as planning help because the total of the total costs for all budget subtypes cannot be overridden for a project.
In the budget plan, this field always displays the total of the budget subtypes for the original budget, that is, the total of the values that were entered using the function Change Planning. Changes made to the values of the approved total values/total revenues in the supplement planning are not taken into account here.
The total of the approved total costs can be compared directly with the planned total costs and used for adjusting plan values.
Dependencies
Total costs/total revenues are entered in the budget planning or the supplement planning in the field Approved TC for each budget subtypes.
The field is not displayed in all BSP elements. It only appears if the field Relevant to Total Costs is flagged in the commitment item master record.
