Documentation
Definition
Controls whether an email is sent to the vendor, when creating or releasing an Internet release.
Use
You can inform the vendor by email, that new Internet releases have been created, which he can see or confirm in the supplier workplace.
Even if several Internet releases are created for a vendor, when creating calls, or releasing stopped calls, then only one email is sent per email address.
Note
The following prerequisites must be fulfilled for you to use the function:
- Your SAP System must be set up for sending external emails. See your system administration to find out if these technical requirements already exist.
- In the relevant function for creating or releasing calls, the indicator Mail for Internet Release must be selected on the initial screen.
- In the relevant scheduling agreement item, for which an Internet release is created, a valid email address must be defined.
- In the current client, in message determination for application 'EM', a message record for medium '5' (send externally) is defined. In the standard system, message type LPEM must be given for the application EM.
You must transfer the application and message type from delivery client '000' to your current client.
