Documentation
Definition
This selection determines whether lead time scheduling is to be carried out in the planning run.
- If this field is selected, the system uses the times in the routing for scheduling.
- If this field is not selected, no lead time scheduling is carried out.
Example
You want to determine that lead time scheduling is to be carried out for the near future. Due to system performance, planned orders that lie after a certain period should not be included in lead time scheduling.
Then define two different scheduling periods for a plant and an order type (if necessary, production controller). In the first scheduling period, select the "scheduling" field and determine the parameters the scheduling. In the second period, the "scheduling" field is not selected.
Dependencies
If the field is not selected, the indicator in the sections of the screen entitled "Scheduling parameters" and "Reduction" are not taken into account.
