Definition

During processing of simulation indexes, simulation documents are generated internally and copied to the statistics. This field specifies whether these simulation documents are saved:

  • If you select this field, the simulation documents are saved (after successful extrapolation). The simulation indexes have status billed.

If an error occurs during extrapolation, or if the simulation document is outsorted, the document is not saved. The simulation indexes have status outsorted or error during processing.

  • If you do not select this field, the simulation documents are not saved. After successful processing, the simulation indexes are deleted. Otherwise they have status outsorted or error during processing.

Notes

Note that saving the simulation documents increases the work involved:

  • Saving the documents noticeably increases the runtime of the mass simulation.
  • The simulation documents require additional memory space.
  • The simulation documents and the processed indexes must deleted again.

Therefore we recommend that you only select the field in the following cases:

  • In the test phase you want to compare the documents with the results in CO-PA.
  • You want to update the document data to the UIS or to user-defined statistics.
