Definition

Calendar year of the document for which the updating of business volumes for subsequent settlement purposes is carried out.

For certain documents (e.g. material documents), the calendar year and the document number together constitute the key with which the system accesses a document. For other document categories, the calendar year is not required (field is empty).

Example

Price determination is carried out for the purchase order. Conditions requiring subsequent settlement are inserted. Updating is carried out according to the setting for the arrangement type (time of update), e.g. from the material document.

Updating can therefore be carried out with respect to a different document and hence document category.
