Definition
Indicates the version of the file layout that is being submitted.
Use
It is a sequential number that increments by one every time the file layout version changes when the files are being submitted to the tax authorities. This number is provided by South African Revenue Service (SARS).
Dependencies
You must enter the file layout version only when you are creating a summary file. When you create a line item file, the report will not provide an option to specify the file layout version.
