Definition
Select this option if you want the system to display the documents based on the posting date. The system sorts the documents and arranges it in such a manner that the documents posted in a particular period are grouped together.

Example
There are five documents created on 10.01.2012. Out of these, two were posted on the same day, which is 10.01.2012. And the rest were posted in 05.02.2012. In this case, if you select the option of Posting Date, the system displays the two documents, that were posted in January together. The rest three documents that were posted in February will be grouped separately.
