Definition
Specifies whether a reported entry indicates an account credit, account debit, or account balance.
Use
The following value types are available:
- S (Entry)
- E (Exit)
- P (Position)
The system displays either E or S as the value type in case of foreign transactions (incoming and outgoing payments). Value type E indicates that the associated bank account is credited and value type S indicates that the associated bank account is debited. While displaying account balances, the system always displays value type P.
