Definition

By default, this option is not selected in order to accelerate program run time. The system will then read and process only the memo records and summary records that are relevant to the reorganization run:

• summary records with value dates or planning dates that are before the predefined summarization date
• memo records with expiration dates that are before the predefined expiration date

If you select this option, then the system also reads the other memo and summary records, and outputs them in the list of unchanged records or in the list of incorrect records.

Extended selection is useful in the following situations:

• to check whether the table settings are correct for these records too
• to obtain an overview of all memo records and summary records

You should select this option only for test runs, since the risk of the update process terminating during a production run increases the longer the program runs. For more information, see the program documentation.
