Documentation
Definition
Determines whether a JIT delivery schedule is stopped for the purposes of message output if a follow-on material becomes relevant within the release horizon.
Use
If you select this indicator, JIT schedules will be generated by the SA release creation program, but held back from the messge output process.
Note
The stopping of SA releases is only possible in the case of scheduling agreements with release documentation if a separate message is generated for each SA release (Rel.Mess. indicator in Customizing for Message Control ) and if SA releases are generated using the release creation program (transaction ME84/program RM06EFLB).
SA releases generated manually during delivery schedule maintenance are not stopped.
Dependencies
Stopped SA releases must be released in a separate step (Purchasing -> Outline Agreement -> Scheduling Agreement -> Delivery Schedule -> Release Stopped SA Releases).
A message record is not generated until you release (approve, clear for issue) a stopped SA release.
Note
If releases have been created and stopped with the release creation report, the MRP controller responsible can be informed about this with the Workflow.
More information is available in the SAP Library under SAP Automotive -> MM Scheduling Agreements Enhancements -> SA Releases: Process -> Workflows for the MRP Controllers.
