Definition

Determines the objects (such as material-plant combinations) to be reorganized.

Use

The following activities are necessary for the reorganization package:

  1. To specify the amount of the objects to be reorganized, define restrictions.
  2. Generate the object list using restrictions for the reorganization plan and the reorganization package.
  3. Classify the objects that you want to reorganize as relevant. Specify the new account assignment (such as the new profit center) for these objects.
  4. Classify the objects to be unaffected by the reorganization as irrelevant.
  5. Change the package status to 20 (Object list complete).

Dependencies

  • A reorganization package is only uniquely defined in combination with a reorganization plan.
  • Further reorganization steps are performed for each reorganization package (such as creating a snapshot, reassigning master data, and transferring balances).
