Use
If you set this indicator, the posting periods check is also made for non-representative ledgers.
You use this indicator if you want to define posting periods and fiscal year variants for non-representative ledgers that differ from the settings for the representative ledger. In this case, postings to a ledger group are made by the system if the relevant posting period is open in all ledgers of the ledger group.

If you use this function, there is an increase in resource use when you post for the check depending on the number of ledgers defined. Make sure that there are sufficient system resources available to you for this.
Moreover, once you activate this function it is no longer possible to define a variant of the posting periods for day ledgers. The system always checks against the posting periods of the representative ledger.
Dependencies
You make the settings for differing fiscal year variants and posting periods under Define and Activate Non-Leading Ledgers .
