Definition
The group number groups together the documents of the worklist and is only of technical significance.
The use of group numbers prevents too many documents from being transferred within a logical unit of work (LUW). In this way, the rollback area of the database is not exhausted.
Within an LUW, only the documents with a given group number are transferred, reducing the workload.
