Definition

Use

For value entry and selection logic, the following applies:

You can enter either a ledger or a ledger group as selection criteria, but not both at the same time. The entry you make in these two fields dictates how the system performs the selection and outputs the list.

  • With the standard setting, the Ledger field is filled with the leading ledger. Nevertheless, you can overwrite this value.
  • The system selects all ledger groups containing the specified ledger.
  • If you enter a ledger group as well as a value in the Ledger field, the system ignores the entry in the Ledger field and simply applies the specified ledger group for the selection.
  • To select all ledger groups, do not make an entry in either the Ledger field or the Ledger Group field.
  • You cannot select the Single Value ("=") selection option for the Ledger field if this field is left empty.
  • You cannot enter a space in the Ledger field because no ledger uses a space as its name.
  • To select all documents that were posted without a ledger group, enter a space in the Ledger Group field.
