Definition

Specifies that the account for expenses or the account for revenues is used as the target account for posting valuation differences in the profit and loss statement.

Use

During foreign currency valuation, it is possible that the P&L target account is determined on the basis of the valuation difference balance of multiple items. Depending on the settings that are specified for a valuation method, the system posts the valuation differences in such cases to a joint P&L account for expenses or revenues.
