Documentation
Definition
Specifies until which date a statistical key figure is valid.
Use
Depending on the key figure category, the To Date is used as follows:
- Key figures with category 1 (fixed values, such as Employee)
In the case of key figures with category 1, you can specify how long the posted combination of statistical key figure and organizational unit (for example, cost center, profit center, and segment) should be valid. If you do not enter a To Date, the period of validity for the master data is used to determine for how long the posted combination is valid. Key figures with type 1 are stored for a given time interval.
- Key figures with category 2 (totals values, such as Telephone Units)
For key figures with category 2, you do not need to enter a To Date. The system ignores any To Date entered. Key figures with type 2 are stored for a specific date.
