Definition
If this indicator is set, then the system deducts the scrap value percentage or an absolute scrap value from the base value for depreciation when depreciation starts.
If this indicator is not set, the system calculates depreciation without initially considering the scrap value. The calculation of depreciation then continues until the cutoff value is reached.
