Definition

The fiscal year defines a period, usually of 12 months, for which the company is to create its inventory and balance sheet. The fiscal year can be the same as the calendar year but does not have to be.

Here the fiscal year describes the year up to (and including) which the transaction figures are to be reloaded. A company code cannot be reloaded if

• there are still transaction figures in the reloading period for a specified account type
• not all stored accounts are available for the specified account types.

In addition, all periods in the reloading period should be closed.
