If you set this selection field, there is no check in SD as to whether sales documents still exist for a master record to be archived. Since this check causes long runtime, but is necessary under certain circumstances, you can deactivate it here to reduce the runtime of the archiving program. In the standard delivery, this check is always activated.
This option is only relevant if you archive SD data.
