Procedure

Set the indicator if you want a legal control check to be carried out for this sales document type.

Use

If you set the indicator, legal control is carried out for each item in the sales document. This determines whether the item requires an export license.

In addition, the system checks all standard partners with regard to embargo and boycott lists.

If this is the case, the system attempts to find a valid license and assign it to the item. If no license can be determined, the item is blocked for further processing. Before you can process the item further, you must obtain the appropriate export license.

Note

Regardless of whether you set an indicator here, the system checks the partners in the sales document header against the various boycott lists.
