Definition

The quantity without source specifies the quantity of the receipt element in question that is not required to cover requirements at finished product level.

If the receipt element in question or one of the receipt elements whose dependent requirements are covered by the receipt element in question is/are greater than the requirement, the difference is recorded in the quantity without source.

The quantity without source is displayed in the unit of measure of the material in the receipt element in question. After accessing the function, 'Goto -> Without source', the system displays a list of the receipt elements whose receipt quantity exceeds the requirement quantity.
