EU authorities use the information from EXTRASTAT declarations for statistical purposes.
Set this indicator if exports authorized with this license type, may not participate in simplified EXTRASTAT procedures.

Example

Normally goods exported with an individual export license (EAG) may not be declared with the simplified EXTRASTAT procedure.
Instead it is far more common to create an export declaration (AM) related to the business transaction.
You would then set this indicator for this type of license.
