Definition

Enter a reference object for the secondary proportionality. The system copies the percentage of completion for the reference object into the current project object. You can specify network activities and WBS elements as reference objects.

Example

You have five activites which are closely interlinked and, therefore, assume them to have made the same progress. You use the estimation for activity 10 and secondary proportionality for activities 20 - 50. You enter activity 10 as the reference object for activities 20 - 50.

As soon as activity 10 reaches a percentage of completion of 80%, this is copied to activities 20-50.
