Definition

Key that specifies the expansion mode for a report symbol.

The expansion mode defines the possible expansion types for a symbol. The following expansion modes are available:

  • GPC: The value of the symbol is a phrase that can be displayed as either a graphic, text, or code.
  • IT: The value of the symbol is an identifier that you can determine by specifying the identification category, type, or list, or by means of a selection strategy.
  • NM: The value of the symbol can be processed using either a numeric input template or a special processing method (function module).
  • Static bar code: The value of the symbol can be output as a bar code. The bar code is defined using the bar code type, which determines the type and structure of the bar code. The values of the predefined parameters can be changed.
