Specifies the search type
Use
During the import process, the SAP system searches for the specifications from the transfer file. You can choose between various search types.
The following search types are available:
- Search via specification key
- Search via identifier
- Search via specification key (prio 1)/identifier (prio 2)
- Search via identifier and specification type
This enables you to search using specification keys or precisely defined identifiers. You can also use various combinations. When you search using identifiers, the specified identification listing is used for the search. The position and priority of an identifier within the identification listing are not relevant. All identifiers in the identification listing for a specification are read from the file. A search using identifiers must be unique. If you select the identifiers in such a way that multiple substances are found, for example, the system issues an error.
Dependencies
If you search using identifiers, you must also:
- Enter your required identification listing in the Ident. for search field
- Specify whether the individual identifiers in the search are to be linked with a logical AND or OR in the Link type of logical operations field.
