Documentation
Definition
Specifies the deletion type for specifications.
The following deletion types are available:
- Delete All Specification Data
All specification data is first deleted before the data to be imported is created again. - Delete According to Data Origin and Provider
Data is deleted and reloaded only if it corresponds to the data origin and data provider in the transfer file. The data origin is shown in the header of the import file, whereas the data provider is shown in the respective data records. - Do Not Delete (Additive Loading)
No specification data is deleted. The import is carried out additively. - Delete All Spec. Data Specifying Value Assignment Types
The value assignments of the value assignment types in the property tree specified as a parameter are deleted. Identifiers, references, and material assignments are not deleted. - Delete with Change Number
Specification data is deleted with the specified change number. The data to be imported is then created again using this change number.
Use
You use the deletion type to determine how existing specification data is deleted or replaced in the SAP system when specifications are imported.
Dependencies
If you select the deletion type Delete with Change Number, you must also enter a change number in the Change Number field.
