Definition

Specifies the number of decimal places for the concentration value of a component.

Use

From SAP EH&S Release 2.7A, the number of decimal places is stored for the concentration value for compositions. This means the SAP System can take all decimal places into account as follows when outputting or calculating:

Value    Meaning

2     Integer with 2 decimal places, for example, 2.30

1     Integer with 1 decimal place, for example, 2.0

0     Integer with the number of decimal places specified in

    the data definition

-1     No concentration value

-2     Integer without decimal place, for example, 2

You use these values to specify the number of decimal places for concentration values. The values apply only to concentration values entered manually, such as those from measurements, for example.

Note: The values in the table do not apply to concentration values that are calculated based on multiple concentration values for different component levels. This means that the concentration value calculated has the same number of decimal places as the concentration value with the least number of decimal places.
