Definition
Indicator for additional creation of an equipment master record for the serial number.
Use
If the indicator is set, then an equipment master record is created in addition to the serial number master record.
To set the indicator manually, select the serial number and choose Secondary Key ->Create Equipment.

Use
You can not flag this field directly. Whether or not it is set depends on the serial number profile.

If an equipment requirement is established for the transactions available in the serial number profile, the system sets the indicator; this indicator can not removed.
If no equipment requirement is established for the transactions available in the serial number profile, the indicator is not set (blank) but it can be set if required.
To set the indicator, ie. to make the system create equipment master records for one or more serial numbers in the list, select the appropriate lines and press the key F5.
To reverse this function, press Shift+F1.
