Definition

Indicates the character encoding set that is to be used for the XML messages you send to this house bank.

Use

By default, your Unicode SAP system encodes outgoing messages using the Unicode character set UTF-8. If a house bank requires an alternative character encoding set for messages, you can enter the name of the alternative character encoding set for each related service operation type in this Customizing activity.

Dependencies

Example

The communication client of one of your house banks uses GBK for its character encoding. In Customizing, for each relevant company code, you enter GBK (and not 8400 or 8404, which are the SAP internal code page numbers corresponding to GBK) as the character encoding set for the service operation types for the queries that you send to this house bank.
