Definition

Indicates the service operation type that enables you to request a certain kind of information from your house bank.

Use

Service operation types allow you to get specific kinds of information using Remote Function Calls (RFC) from your bank's communication client. You create different service operation types for different kinds of queries and responses, for example, a query to find out if an item in a payment file has been processed. These service operation types are bank-specific.

Example

In Customizing, you create a service operation type for querying the balance of a house bank account. Authorized users can then make this query from the Query Bank tab page on the Electronic Payment Integration (China) screen.
