Definition

A corresponding lock object can be created in the Data Dictionary for each FI-SL summary table, if the lock object EGGLREFE delivered by SAP does not suffice.

This new lock object is a maximum of 10 characters long and has the name EZxxxxxxxE (beginning with Release 3.0C) or EGxxxxxxxE (Note: xxxxxxx = max. 7 characters, which are used for the name of the lock object).

Note: If the lock object EZxxxxxxxE is defined, it is also used; otherwise the lock object EGxxxxxxxE is used.

Procedure

In the field enter the characteristics which are to be used as the name of the lock object. Usually the name of the FI-SL summary table is entered here.

Example

A special lock object EGGLT0E (compare with Data Dictionary) is delivered for table GLT0.
