Use
When you enter services, the system proposes the end time of the service. Depending on whether you called the service entry transaction with regard to a case or a movement, the end time is proposed as follows:
- You call service entry with regard to a case by choosing the required case row in the case list.
- For extended services, the system proposes the time of discharge as the end time of the service. If the case is not yet discharged, the system sets the end time to 24:00:00 (with end date 12/31/99999).
- For immediate services, the system proposes the time of admission with inpatient and day patient cases and the time of first outpatient visit wth outpatient cases.
- You call service entry with regard to a movement by choosing a movement row of the case in the case list.
- For extended services, the system proposes the time of the subsequent movement (except for absence) as the end time. If no subsequent movement exists, the system sets the end time to 24:00:00 (with end date 12/31/9999)
- For immediate services, the system proposes the time of the chosen movement as the end time of the service.

Dependencies
Billable extended services that are valid at 24:00:00 on a day are billed for for this day. Depending on the valuation formula of the service, they are also billed for for days on which they end before 24:00:00.
If an extended service is not billed for for a day, please first check the valuation formula of the service in the service master record.
